What is the YONG Foundation?
In late 2008 during the world financial crises when everyone is short of funds. The founder of YONG and the author of The Australian Dream and $1 Properties, Peter Huang, announced his grand plan to set up a global organisation, the YONG Foundation – a charity organisation aiming primarily at supporting the following
- research for cancer
- diseases affecting the elderly, children and women
- elderly community organisations
- significant natural disasters
- and more...
Peter has personally committed $500,000 in its first year of operation to kick-start the foundation and 20.2% of the master franchisor's gross revenue in Queensland or 51.3% of the Master franchisor’s gross revenue from the rest of the world, where a master franchisee is appointed, will all be contributed to the Foundation by the Master franchisor - YONG Internationals Pty Ltd trading as YONG Real Estate.
YONG is the first and arguably the only major real estate franchise network in the world to contribute this significant proportion of its gross revenue (not just net profit) to charity. YONG, as an ethical brand, aims to make a real difference to this world!
What is the YONG Foundation?
The YONG Foundation is a registered charity organisation and according to the government’s requirement, it is only able to donate to those organisations with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. In its by law, this funding is committed only to the research of cancer, disease affecting the elderly, women and children as well as any significant natural disasters.
If your organisation is committed to one of the above, please click here and complete the Donation Request Form and return it to our office. The Foundation will keep all requests on file and allocate funds once the distributable funds are available for the right areas.
At this stage, as a PPF (Private Prescribed Fund), the absolute majority of the funding is from YONG Real Estate. Public donations to the YONG Foundation cannot be more than 10% of the total funds in the YONG Foundation.
