The franchising Industry is undergoing a major review of the legislation designed to further protect franchisees.
As part of this review and to assist with other Trade Practices related franchising issues the ACCC has formed a Franchise Consultative Committee to enable the to receive a wide range of views.
Mr Rod White Chief Operations Officer Yong Internationals has been appointed to this committee.
YONG Internationals is a Queensland Based, Australian owned real Estate Franchise Group currently expanding throughout Australia as well as internationally.
Mr White said that whilst most franchisors run ethical business designed to achieve success for both franchisor and franchisee there is always the opportunity for dishonest operators to enter the industry.
It is essential that we in the franchising sector do whatever we can to stamp out these blights on the our industry.
